Cibi: Simple Japanese-inspired meals to share with family and friends
by Meg Tanaka and Zenta Tanaka
CIBI ('a little one') is a book on home-style Japanese cooking inspired by the eponymous Melbourne café and design space created by Meg and Zenta Tanaka. It contains more than 80 seasonally relevant recipes across vegetables, fish and seafood, meat, grains and noodles, and sweets, plus small features on elements of Japanese cooking and food culture, accompanied by beautiful photography and illustrations.
About CIBI: Meg Tanaka founded the CIBI restaurant and design stores with her partner Zenta Tanaka in 2008 to blend their backgrounds and experience in food, wine, design and architecture. They currently have outlets in Melbourne and Tokyo.
